After an incredibly wet and recording setting May, weather conditions look to be MUCH drier as we head through the first full week of June 2015. The image below suggests that nearly 12″ to 24″ or more of rain fell in these areas during the Month of May! Many locations not only saw their wettest May on record, but they also had their wettest month on record!

The good news is that rainfall potential looks much lower across the Deep South over the next several days. Our next impulse of energy will drag most of the upcoming precipitation across the northern tier of the nation, while the south-central part of the country looks to stay mostly dry.
