Job Title: Sales & Account Manager
Location: Remote or Eden Prairie, MN (Hybrid)
Company: Praedictix
Salary: Base starting at $75,000 + commission. Bonus eligible.

About Us:
Praedictix is Twin Cities-based company specializing in custom weather information including weather intelligence in support of corporate risk management decision support, consulting, and forensic weather services, and broadcast weather. Our team of veteran meteorologists operates at the intersection of climate and weather to help businesses make informed decisions through human-led, expert insights for both domestic and international clients.

Position Overview:
We’re seeking a driven and strategic Sales & Account Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in sales who is passionate about relationship-building and helping clients find tailored weather solutions. You’ll be responsible for managing existing client accounts, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and contributing to our overall sales and business development strategy. A background or interest in marketing is a plus. Our ideal candidate would embrace the challenges of growing a small business and embark into a true leadership role–this is not a role for a follower.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, identify, and pursue new sales leads across legal, media, corporate, and public sectors.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and refine sales strategies and go-to-market plans
  • Create compelling sales materials and assist with outbound marketing efforts
  • Represent Praedictix at industry events, virtual meetings, and client presentations
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, with a preference in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a sales or account management role
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while handling day-to-day sales activities
  • Self-motivated.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Marketing experience is helpful, but not required.
  • Familiarity with CRM, customer contact data bases, and their use as a benefit.
  • Experience with weather, or climate, products a plus.
