Personal Injury Weather Reports

When weather contributes to a personal injury, getting the facts right is critical. The success of a case often hinges on accurately reconstructing the weather conditions leading up to the incident. Our job as meteorologists is to provide a clear, scientifically-backed picture of those conditions:

  • Was ice present in a slip-and-fall accident? We determine if temperatures and conditions were conducive to ice formation.
  • Was surface treatment adequate? We assess whether proper precautions were taken based on anticipated weather and actual observations.
  • Unsafe wind gusts during an outdoor event? We investigate if high winds were present during incidents like inflatable structure accidents.
  • Weather impact on vehicular accidents? We analyze the conditions leading to accidents, identifying any relevant weather-related factors.

Our company has deep expertise in providing comprehensive personal injury weather analyses. Our reports have been instrumental in resolving hundreds of cases, where accurate weather reconstruction plays a decisive role. Our seasoned team of meteorologists meticulously reviews all available data—official weather observations, radar scans, storm reports, and warnings—to ensure precision and reliability.

When it comes to determining liability, our weather reports often make the difference, helping our clients achieve favorable outcomes.

How does it work?

  1. Tell us about your case by filling out the form below.
  2. A meteorologist will provide a high-level, complimentary review of the data and discuss findings with you.  We will formulate a strategy with you should you decide to proceed with a report.
  3. Based on what is requested, we will provide an estimate and a letter of engagement before beginning our work.
  4. We will connect with you once the report is complete and review it with you on a call before the final submission is made.

Most weather reports are usually completed within 2 business weeks, though timing can vary depending on case load and case complexity.

“It has been absolutely wonderful work with Praedictix with our claims. Their efforts on the reports for IPA have allowed us to prove that hail hit the properties and have been a critical piece in proving that the claim damages are from the date of loss submitted to the insurance companies. The services provided to IPA and our clients go way beyond the standard hail maps on the market. One of the best services provided is a ‘walk through’ of the weather reports, explaining how to read them and exactly what they mean and how the hail and wind actually hit on that particular property.”
